These individuals are from senior levels of major real estate development and construction companies and have extensive experience in all types of commercial and residential development on a North American basis.  



It is important to understand that Lava Springs has no debt to a commercial banking firm associated with it. The development is financially sound and being executed by a team of professionals with a solid track-record in real estate development.


Lorne Duthie - Principal, Investor and Managing Partner
Mr. Duthie has been involved in the Commercial Real Estate business for over 25 years. Prior to full time involvement with the Quatro Group, he spent 3 years developing real estate for two large retail chains located in the western United States.  Before that he was with Future Shop Ltd., a national consumer electronics chain, for over 10 years where he was responsible for opening more than 100 retail store locations and constructing large warehousing and office facilities. 

As head of the real estate department at Future Shop, he leased, developed and managed over 3 million square feet of commercial space across Canada and the western United States. Mr. Duthie also spent several years developing shopping centers for an affiliated company, Wesbild Properties in Vancouver and spent 2 years with a major life insurance company placing large commercial mortgages on properties across Canada.

Mr. Duthie has an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a B. Sc. in Construction Management from Central Washington University.


Len Robinson - Principal, Investor Partner
Len has been in the commercial construction industry for more than 35 years.  Most recently he was President and COO of one of the largest construction companies in Canada.  Len was responsible for the operations and growth of more than 10 offices across North America, where he managed annual volumes of up to $500 million. Projects ranged is size from $1 million to $250 million, primarily in the commercial, Institutional, retail and residential markets.

As of January 2010, Len retired and is now able to oversee and manage construction and design of Quatro’s developments.
